About us

Cambridge Matriculation School was founded in the year 1981 and is run by Pauls Educational & Charitable Trust. Our school is situated at Kongarayakurichi near the banks of the river Thamiraparani, Karungulam panchayat union, Srivaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi district. This is a co-educational school & got recognition from the Government of Tamil Nadu in the year 1992 for LKG, UKG and from standard I to V. Our school has upgraded from primary level to Matriculation school in the village to develop and to help the economically backward students. In 2002, we had got recognition from the Government of Tamil Nadu to start the standards from VI to X. In our school, Tamil is taken as First language and all the other subjects have been taught in English. In addition we are teaching Hindi, Computer, Moral, Value Education, Physical Education including yoga, pyramid etc. is given to all students. We are conducting Cambridge's course for competitive exams like NEET, JEE, UPSC, TNPSC, Railways etc., Free Education has been given to many students, those who have lost their parents, economically backward class students, below poverty level students and concession for girl’s students. By the grace of God and the effort of the faculties, we achieved 100% results in every Tamil Nadu State Board Examination. Perfection for us is our constant target.
